It is used in the liming of all types of soils to increase the pH level; in the liming of woods, lakes and water catchment areas, as well as to improve the fertility of the soil. It is a liming material of a slow action. The dolomite flour does not contain active CaO and MgO, therefore it can be incorporated into the soil in all seasons, but it is more effective to be done in the autumn or in the early spring.
